So we’re married.
For all those who’ve asked, and a few who haven’t, the wedding on Saturday went off remarkably well given how haphazard the whole affair was! After a day showing my mum and brother round town, and an excellent meal in a rather good restaurant none of us had tried before, we headed home to make the decision as to where to hold the ceremony.
Now, that’s not quite so drastic as it might sound. Rain had been coming down on and off all day, so we delayed the decision on whether to move the ceremony indoors to the last minute. The rain held off just long enough, and we managed to get the ceremony completed and a few photos (coming soon) in before the skies opened once more.
The honeymoon, certain camping issues aside, was great. Particularly the wine tasting, resulting from which we can highly recommend the Chateau Chantal 2000 Chardonnay Reserve. I imagine we’ll be making another trip that way before too long…
