Seems the helicopter game was a bit of a hit in certain quarters. I’m sure Steve will be looking for a rehab group shortly.
Favourite web find of the week was John’s Switch Ad. For those not geeky enough to have watched Apple’s Switch Ads, it’s based on one of them but with a slightly more political text. Perhaps I shouldn’t have watched it quite so much, but the combination of ‘geek’ and ‘George Bush? He’s a monkey’ was too much for me. I think my favourite line has to be ‘Patriotism is the rohypnol of the American people’. A generalisation, perhaps, but still….
Other than that, the week feels like it has been dominated by a certain film release, though that was really only yesterday. Going out for the 11am showing turned into a whole day (and evening) event. Good viewing, though we were too close to the screen to really take it in to the fullest (blame adam). Gollum was stunning. The Ents…. weren’t. But all in all, well worth watching.
Beside that, work is getting done, world politics continues to slide into a very strange state, words change meanings and life goes on as usual really.
