Portfolio
I am a firm advocate of exploring the problem before settling on a technology to use in its solution, but I work primarily with Ruby on Rails, and use PHP for some clients whose needs it suits.
Below is a selection of sites from my portfolio. To find out more about a given site, click on the image.
From the mid-90s for around eight years I ran a website called Britlinks, a source of information on a range of musicians from the UK and Ireland that for several years averaged over 50,000 visitors (300,000 hits) per month That site briefly changed hands, and is now in 'archive' mode, but is worth noting as it was the testing ground for many of the technologies now use on a daily basis developing websites and broke ground in its early adoption of web standards such as CSS and RSS. For a review of the transition of the site to its current archival form, you may like to read this blog entry.
